The entire building of this penthouse in The Hague received a stunning architectural extension. The exciting architectural composition gives a foretaste of a similar twist that’s happening inside the penthouse. A curated collection of alternating structures, lines and rhythms gives character and definition to the various spaces. Among the highlights are custom joinery in bog oak and bronze steel, wide oak plank flooring with a grey finish, and the abundant use of different types of natural stone for the entrance, wet areas and mantelpiece (a television is kept out of sight here when not in use). The newer volume boasts floor-to-ceiling windows that offer stunning views of the surrounding park and beyond.
