Sometimes, a house asks for a modern upgrade, but the existing layout is optimal. This was the case with this historic residence. The redesign called for a respectful renovation, using two variations of natural stone in various sizes. Special attention goes to the custom-designed black kitchen, a genuine centrepiece of the house visible from the dining area. Catering for the culinary talented residents and their family, it became a new design icon that justly draws the attention. Different shades of oak define the distinctive spaces, striking a delicate balance between clarity and unity whilst securing the residence still evokes inspiration and excitement.
